On February 9, 2010, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General & Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs B. Lynn Pascoe, who will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). Both sides exchanged views on the situation of the Korean Peninsula as well as other issues of common concern.
